Giovanni Pittalis

Giovanni was born in Sardinia, a large Italian island in the Mediterranean Sea. He developed a passion for the arts and for fashion after his family moved to the historic city of Florence when he was a boy.

 A follower of the European movement Eco Art, Gio creates artwork from discarded and leftover materials, and each piece is handmade and one of a kind.

 His sculptures are inspired by movement and dance. The elegant silhouettes are mean to capture joy and tenderness. At play is the concept of balance, with characters often perched on one leg. Giovanni’s art expresses energy, movement, playfulness and a feeling of joy.
