Established In 2016, Blue Crow Gallery proudly represents local Canadian artists. Our constantly changing collection features established and emerging painters, pottery artists, jewellers, sculptors and more. Blue Crow Gallery aims to provide an accessible and an enjoyable art purchasing experience for both new and established collectors.

Our gallery offers art consultations, digital photoshop services, and home trials to ensure you’re choosing the perfect piece of art to bring joy to your space.

Our art studio has much to offer from our after school art classes to portfolio building programs for teens and themed art camp. Our range of classes for children and adults aim to inspire all to have fun learning new skills and creating their own masterpieces. Meet The Team

  • Jodi Wheeler

    OWNER / DIRECTOR

    Jodi Wheeler is a Toronto-based artist who has been painting professionally as a mixed-media artist since 2005. Jodi can be found in exhibitions, private and corporate collections in Canada, U.S., Australia, and Europe. Jodi graduated in 1999 from York University’s Fine Arts program with her BFA. After graduating she went on to work as an art dealer and manager in galleries in Australia and Canada.

    In 2015 Jodi opened the Second Door Studio & retail gallery in the Distillery District with Joya Paul. In December 2016 Jodi, in pursuit of a long-time dream of owning her own gallery, opened Blue Crow Gallery.

    Blue Crow Gallery also has a teaching centre where art classes and workshops are offered in a variety of mediums for both children and adults. Jodi is excited to be taking her involvement in the Toronto art scene one step further and hopes to build strong and long-lasting relationships with local artists and her community.

  • Erika Stark

    GALLERY MANAGER / TEACHER

    Erika Stark began full-time in 2023 at Blue Crow Gallery. Erika is our Gallery Manager and one of our Art Teachers. She is a Canadian artist & illustrator whose work has spanned many mediums. Her work has been exhibited in a variety of formats all over Toronto and the GTA.

    After many years involved in Theatre and Production, Erika became obsessed with the practice of storytelling and creating Fantasy worlds. After attending OCAD University and majoring in Drawing & Painting, her current work and style focuses mainly on Magic, Myth, Momento Mori & Monsters.

    Some other themes that can be seen in her work include Transformation, Femininity & Dreams, inspired by design elements of Art Nouveau and Art Deco; creating balance and harmony in composition & colour.  

  • Gianna-Luisa Aceto

    GALLERY ASSISTANT / MERCHANDISER

    Gianna-Luisa Aceto has been with Blue Crow Gallery since 2022 as part of the Blue Crow Sales/ Administrative Team. Gianna- Luisa is amazing with clients, hanging the walls and designing our displays and our front windows!

    She is a Canadian artist based in Toronto, Ontario.

    Her practice is central to pure-abstraction; creating compositions in which focus on abstract elements of either geometric or indefinite shapes, finding inspiration in how her perception of abstraction differs from the viewer.

    Gianna-Luisa received her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Brock University in Studio Art. 

  • Madeline Cushman

    GALLERY ASSISTANT

    Madeline Cushman is a Gallery Assistant at Blue Crow Gallery, where she brings a rich background in curatorial support exhibition installation, and community based arts programming. Madeline is a recent graduate of Queens University with a Bachelors of Arts and Science (honours) in Art History and a certificate in Urban Planning. Madeline has gained hands on experience at not-for-profit galleries, artist-run centres, archival institutions, and the Venice Biennale.

    Her work is grounded in a deep commitment to accessibility and inclusivity in the arts. Whether helping install exhibitions, writing didactic material, engaging with visitors, Madeline is passionate about creating a welcoming and meaningful experience in the arts.
