Works by Annette Hansen

May 1st-31st

Opening Reception:
May 3rd @ 1pm-4pm at Blue Crow Gallery

From early beginnings in ceramic studies at Denmark's Kolding Design School, through decades of creating functional pieces and art pieces, Annette now incorporates a new medium into her innovative work: photography. Blending visual and tactical worlds, Annette leverages her love of film and digital photography to produce a unique experience in clay.
In a recent exhibition, Annette brought nature photography to life in an expressive series of photo transfers onto handmade porcelain clay tiles. With continuous exploration in form, colour, texture and design, Annette invites viewers to join her journey of curiosity; composing, designing and creating from the ground up.
