Dale Roddick

Dale has been working with clay for over 30 years and has taught pottery classes through the Toronto Board of Education Continuing Education program. He studied pottery at George Brown College, Sheridan College and Cedar Ridge Creative Center with instructors including Martha Maby, Pauline Harman, Monica Johnson, Susan Card and Micheal Sheba. Dale works at and has been a member of The Potters Studio Inc for the last 18 years. He has a B.A.A. in photography from Ryerson University and worked as a Medical Photographer for 35 years at Sunnybrook Hospital. Some of the inspiration for his work comes from an interest in anthropology and tribal design, as well as episodes from his personal life, experienced during the course of wilderness camping, hiking and canoe trips.
