We all have our "thing" that sparks joy at the mere sight of it.
For me, that thing is and always has been fruit. Any kind of fruit - apples, peaches, pears, plums, oranges, grapes, watermelon..you get the idea. I love the distinct hues, forms, textures and lustre that characterize different fruits and make them all unique.

In my work, I aim to distill these unique characteristics and magnify them in larger-than-life, realistic oil paintings on round panels that offer a refreshingly modern take on realism painting.
