28. Cheryl-Ann Hills - "Brilliance Ahead" - 12x12"

Cheryl creates within several themed collections each with their own unique focus and inspiration. What ties all of her work together is her own styled approach which she calls Abstract Canadiana. The style features bold colour, softly blended architectural forms, dramatic lighting, and a strong simplified composition, all with a touch of whimsy. Her practice is solvent-free and features mainly walnut oil paints that provide the brilliant colour and deep glow found within the work. She strives to express the joy and tranquillity she feels while experiencing the Canadian landscape.
